Farming

Live foundations + in-development additions · Future additions are identified in the relevant sections.

From seed to harvest

Buy an available seed, plant it on eligible land, and return when the crop is ready. Growth happens over time and is visible on the map. Harvesting puts produce into your storage and contributes to character progression under the current experience rules.

The seed-and-replant flow, crop unlocks, production limits, and growth times are shown in the game. These project docs do not keep a second balance table that could disagree with the version you are playing.

Decide where the harvest goes

A harvest can serve different needs. You might keep it as feed, deliver it to an order, use it in a processing recipe, or offer it to another player. Check the item’s actual uses before selling everything just because your warehouse is filling up.

Processing and player trading are already part of Roblade. They should not be described as something that only becomes possible in a future kingdom era.

What the adventure update adds

In development: more recurring uses for what your land produces.

The existing production chain includes pumpkins and corn processed into Food Packs. Food Packs are being connected to recovery outside combat, while kingdom manufacturing will turn eligible land materials and processed goods into adventure supplies.

Health potions, mana potions, random teleport scrolls, and return scrolls will be produced by kingdoms. Exact ingredients belong to their approved recipes; a crop appearing in this guide does not mean it is automatically an ingredient in every potion.

The practical effect for a farming player is another customer: a kingdom that needs ingredients for its next production batch. You do not have to hunt bosses to supply that customer.

Plan around more than the harvest timer

Before planting a large batch, consider storage space, your own feed needs, available processing, and any purchase order you intend to fill. A listed asking price is not proof that someone will buy the whole batch.

Neighbor cultivation follows the owner’s permission and production rules. It is a way to use permitted land, not a way to bypass your own farming limits. Read Neighbors & Shared Cultivation.

Next: Processing & Storage or Kingdom Production.
