Pets
In development · The behavior below is the current update design, not a claim that the complete feature is publicly available.
Find a companion through adventure
Pet eggs can come from the approved hunting, elite, and boss drop tables. You must pick up an egg before it is in your inventory. You can then choose to hatch it or trade it when eligible trading is available.
Different sources can offer different pet types. The release’s pet information will explain where to look; the presence of a pet in a preview does not promise a particular drop rate or location.
Raise it over time
The current pet design includes growth, attributes, skills, and training. Hatching takes time. Basic growth uses the stated time, Gold, or materials; advanced training may also include a clearly priced ROB service.
A pet is intended to be a useful companion you develop, not an inventory count that rises without a purpose. The first update does not rely on unlimited breeding or a paid random pet-drawing system.
Fight together
The current development baseline uses one active pet. It follows its owner, cooperates in combat, and responds to commands such as follow, guard, or stop attacking. Available pet skills and behavior are shown in its controls.
A pet’s damage counts with its owner’s contribution. It does not receive a second independent copy of boss loot, and it does not pick up items automatically for you.
The pet follows the owner’s legal target rules. It is not a way to attack through the safe-city boundary or ignore the player-combat rules.
Pet defeat is not permanent loss
Pets can be injured and defeated. The current design uses a following spirit and recovery through eligible monster combat. Player kills do not generate pet revival souls or a separate experience reward.
If the owner dies, the pet stops fighting and remains connected to the owner. It is not permanently killed, transferred to another player by PK, or left farming automatically after logout.
Pet ownership and trade
Adventure pets do not become bound merely because they have been deployed once under the current design. A pet must nevertheless be eligible and not active or reserved when offered for sale. Starter and other bound pets have different restrictions.
Ranch animals are separate: they produce goods on your land rather than joining character fights. See Ranching for those animals.
The persistence, training settlement, and new pet marketplace are part of the ongoing integration, not a claim that every preview pet is already a live tradable asset.
