Army & Training

Live · This page describes an available part of Roblade. Current in-game values and access conditions apply.

Your army has its own job

An army consists of troops trained for land defense, the Goblin Camp, and kingdom warfare. You deploy units and plan how their roles work together.

The adventure update does not send this army into the Wilds. There, you control your own character and an active pet. Improving a character’s sword does not automatically apply its attributes to every soldier in an army.

Train before you fight

Military buildings provide the available training options. Training uses the shown Gold, materials, time, and capacity. Research and upgrades improve the eligible units under their own requirements.

Your army has real availability: units may be training, available, assigned to defense, or committed to a war. The same unit cannot be used in two places at once.

Deployment limits are different from the total number of troops you may have ready. Check both before committing to a fight.

Build a force around the target

Unit roles matter. Front-line units absorb pressure, ranged units attack from a distance, support helps allies, and specialist units handle particular defensive problems. A larger number is not a substitute for understanding the target and your deployment.

Use the current troop panel and Player Handbook for the released roster, unlocks, population costs, and special abilities. These project docs deliberately avoid a second numerical roster that would become stale after balancing.

Plan for losses

Deployed troops can be lost under the battle’s rules. Check the replacement cost and result rather than assuming an entire army returns unchanged. Troops not committed to an attack are not extra casualties of that attack.

Keep the two combat systems clear

Army warfare and character adventure connect through production, community, and shared resources. Their controls, participants, loss rules, and rewards remain distinct. A pet’s revival rule does not revive fallen soldiers; a kingdom war reward does not establish what a Wilds monster drops.

Next: The Goblin Camp, Kingdom Wars, or Defending Your Land.
