Production & Recipes

In development · The behavior below is the current update design, not a claim that the complete feature is publicly available.

The kingdom supply business

Health potions, mana potions, random teleport scrolls, and return scrolls will be produced and sold by kingdoms.

These are everyday adventure goods, not an unlimited supply created by a system shop. Buying a potion should connect the adventurer to the kingdom that made it and the players who supplied the ingredients.

This feature is being integrated with the new adventure. It is not presented here as a fully released production menu.

Start with a recipe

A kingdom uses ROB to unlock production recipes from the system. The recipe is a permanent production right belonging to the kingdom. It is not consumed when one batch finishes and is not a personal asset taken away by a departing leader.

A recipe is also not a global monopoly. More than one kingdom can unlock and manufacture the same product. Players can compare the goods available from different kingdoms and buy outside their own membership.

Advanced production can require better facilities or technology as well as the appropriate recipe. Owning the recipe does not skip the other requirements.

Exact unlock prices, ingredients, batch sizes, and production times will be shown with the approved recipe. This page does not invent those values or promise that every recipe is available in the first release.

Buy ingredients and make a batch

The production relationship is straightforward:

  1. Choose a product the kingdom intends to sell.
  2. Obtain its recipe and meet the facility requirements.
  3. Buy the required land materials and processed ingredients.
  4. Commit the ingredients and production time to the batch.
  5. Put the completed stock up for sale.
  6. Use actual sales and remaining stock to plan the next batch.

The recipe gives you permission to produce. Materials and production time are required again for subsequent batches. Building the facility or unlocking the recipe does not produce an endless inventory.

Existing kingdom purchase orders use prefunded Gold. The new finished supplies are sold for ROB. These are different payment flows; recipe ownership does not introduce an automatic ROB-to-Gold conversion.

Sell to players who need supplies

Players purchase finished goods with ROB. A player preparing for a boss fight may want healing and mana supplies. Another may want scrolls for the available travel actions. Their purchases draw from stock that has actually been produced.

If a city storefront or another sales interface offers kingdom goods, that location is a sales channel—not an independent system factory. The final storefront layout and delivery flow will be shown with the release.

There is no guaranteed buyer for every batch. A kingdom has to consider what players use, the cost of ingredients, the selling price, and whether it can keep useful goods in stock.

What kingdom members can organize

A kingdom can decide which recipes to prioritize, which facilities to develop, what ingredients to purchase, how much to produce, and what price to ask. Members can divide the work between material supply, procurement, inventory, production, and group play.

This does not require every farmer to become a fighter or every fighter to operate a farm. A farmer can sell ingredients. A kingdom can manufacture. An adventurer can buy supplies and concentrate on hunting.

Why consumables matter

Equipment and pets give players things to pursue over time. Consumables create repeat purchases when players actually use them.

A potion that has been used is no longer in the player’s bag. A sold-out batch gives the kingdom a reason to make another. That next batch gives land producers another customer.

Land produces ingredients → kingdoms make supplies → players buy and use them → kingdoms restock.

This connection only works when the adventure is worth playing and the products are useful at a sensible price. Making players consume something is not enough by itself to make a healthy business.

Ordinary supplies and special drops

The kingdom production rule applies to the everyday supplies listed above. It does not redefine every item called a consumable. Special adventure items, such as Soul Crystals, have their own approved sources and uses. They must not be confused with a second source of ordinary kingdom-made potions.
